Romantic La Quinta Country Club Wedding

It was just like any other night. AJ and his best friend Robert Sabo were driving to the the gym. Unfortunately (and fortunately) they ran out of gas and were stranded for hours. By the time they figured it out, a cranky and hungry AJ was in need of food. Anyone who’s lived in the desert knows that everything closes as SOON as the sun goes down. (Well, maybe not that early… but to anyone under the age of 70, it definitely seems like it). So the only place open, was the good ol’ Yardhouse…so off they went. AJ always says that they never would have been there under different circumstances..but fate intervened and  luckily, that same night,   a beautiful blonde was in town during her spring break from Law School and she and a friend were looking for a place to go that was open late. Fate obviously had a plan for these two, who both describe their meeting as “love at first sight”. The rest is, as they say, history.

AJ and Karen are beautiful people, both inside and out. Their love is palpable. You can tell immediately that these two were made for one another. This and many other reasons made me SO happy to be able to photograph their wedding. Trent and I are so lucky to be able to not only call them amazing clients, but friends.

They both changed into cowboy boots as soon as they made their entrance to the reception!
